More lights

My sister and dad passed through on their way to Florida yesterday so after a great dinner at J Peters in down town Anderson, I had to set up the light display of what I had so far to find out what they think about it. The presentation still has only 5 channels showing. I found an old lit reindeer up in the attic so I plugged it in to number 7. It was not LED so the light lights looked a little yellow. I thought about putting new LED lights on it but it would cost me too much money so I decided to leave it alone. My sister ask me if she could video record it. I told her she could but it wasn't going to looks good as it will be in another couple of weeks. But she wanted to anyway. So from this point on there will be no other kind of Christmas lights. Unless I find a few more reindeer. next post I will try to add some pictures maybe a video.

It is getting to look a lot like Christmas

As some people have seen over the Internet and YouTube, more and more people are setting up syncrinized Chirstams light on their house. Well this year I have set out to do the same. Last month I bought from Light-O-Rama from my first 16 channel light box. It was easy to plug in and set up. The software was downloaded from their website.

I have set up to put just the LED mini lights. So far I have only used the ones that are being sold at Target stores. They are the Target brand lights. 60 strand lights for just under $8. So far I have 36 strands plus the 6 strands of white icicle lights. I have built wooden frames for the windows and doors to attach lights on. To date I only have 2,500 LED lights.

The music I have chosen is small at this time. I did not start on it soon enough and have not been able to put time in to getting more songs added. So as the time gets closer to Christmas I should add more songs to the play list. I'll post pictures and of course videos when closer to December.

People in our small town

Just last year I had the chance to visit Jackson Hospital in Miami Fl. I was there with my wife and her mother due to an accident that was caused by lazy cruise members on a cruise ship that we had been on a few hours earlier. Without waiting for the long drug out part of this story, there were people dieing all over the ER. We did see a body moved to another room and dumped there like a sack of unwanted potatoes. There was a county detainee in there being watched by 2 over weight under height women that only looked at him every hour. He needs wasn't being meet and he need to use the restroom. So he pulls it out and pees all over the place. Jackson Hospital just got another free indoor fountain. People were numbered and pushed to the edge of the room. If you were bleeding they put your finger in the hole to keep it the blood flow down. My niece and I went to the McDonald's there and that place was full of people that ran out of the hospital to eat real food as if McD's is real. people rolling in with their IV drips. people getting into fist fights with themselves. Just crazy nuts.
I tell you this because I sit here in Subways eating a descent sub and I see another "crazy" person sitting in one of the booths rocking back and forth talking to himself with that cray look in his eyes. I would tell more of how I can identify the look of a crazy person but my family will hurt me with big sticks for giving away secrets.

Wife in the hospital

My wife complained about the coating in her mouth. She had a headache as well. This morning she says the side of her face is numb. She called her doctor and he said to go to the emergence room. This is the first place you want to be if you want to see Zombies. So she checks in and we move to room number 9. That just sounds bad to me. I don't like the number 9. So while we sit there dying, you hear a few screens in the background and with all the Zombie movies books and blogs I have seen, you start thinking of what could happen.
I hear my wife breathing, a good sign at this point, I look around the room for objects that will sever off the head of an infected person or by a Zombie. In the hospital most proletariat you are infected. Infected people out number staff four to one. So as I look I see the IV pole that is attached to the side of the bed. I did wiggle it around just to make sure I could get it off when I needed it. I could at least cut em with the hook with a good hard swing. Then there are the rubber gloves. Three sizes, small medium and large. I would request a box of extra large if I had to be in here any longer then I would wanted to.
There is the bag for the dirty sheets. I'm thinking I could throw it over the head and arms so they could see us while I roll the big bed out of the room.
The nurse came in and I have the sheet pulled over my wife's head. Just in case the powers that be were looking for fresh live body to feed the caught Zombies. I want my wife to stay with me.
